1. Shut off the main water supply valve to the refrigerator

2. Remove old cartridge by grasping firmly and twisting counterclockwise 1/4 turn

3. Push new Kenmore 46-9082 Refrigerator Water Filter (Whirlpool Filter 2 - W10413645A, EDR2RXD1) into the filter receiver and turn 1/4 turn clockwise until it locks

4. Turn on the main water supply valve to the refrigerator
